Navigating menstrual health in the workplace with Lizzy Kurtzer

DocHQ

Today we are joined by Lizzy Kurtzer, a menstrual cycle coach for the workplace - working with businesses to create inclusive cultures for people with periods.

A new WaterAid survey reveals that menstrual taboos still dominate the lives of working women across the UK, with a staggering 85% saying they experience stress or anxiety when managing their periods at work.

Lizzy has joined us today to explain the ways in which people with periods in the workplace are struggling with their menstrual cycles and how employers can improve these working conditions through educational resources, health testing and menstrual leave policies. We’ll be learning all about how each phase of our cycles can impact us on a physical and mental level and how this is important for workplaces to consider.
